Photos of MDA Vario IV at the conference
The design of the Vario IV is obviously borrowed from the Compact IV. In fact when viewed straight on it's even hard to recognize which one has the QWERTY keyboard. However the MDA Vario IV doesn't have the Diamond-shaped back as the HTC Touch Diamond.

The following reason is smart phone with OS normally is for business man.Of course they are expensive. A smart phone with OS(Operating System) do u think they are cheap ? The T-Mobile MDA Compact IV and Vario IV will be available in July at currently unknown price.
